With over 30 years of construction industry experience, William (Bill) Lamkin is a significant asset to the Industrial Electric’s executive leadership team as the company’s President. During his tenure in the industry, Bill has led strategic planning, developed and managed client relationships, project initiatives, schedules, and operation expenses with a focus on positioning the company’s engagements to maximize profitability. His demonstrated leadership and breadth of knowledge proved prosperous as reflected in the significant growth, positive image shaping and increased creditability in the companies he has served.
Based on Bill’s deep expertise in the engineering and design of control systems, multi-discipline engineering management and general contracting give him that ability to understand the client, engineers, and construction contractors to deliver successful projects. He has leveraged his extensive engineering experience to deliver high quality on complex and challenging projects with operation excellence, safely, ahead of schedule, and within budget.
As President of Industrial Electric, Bill is responsible for driving the overall planning, growth, and direction of the company. In step with the Company’s philosophy, Bill ensures the highest level of service, quality and safety, a theme that permeates all aspects of the company and is fundamental to Industrial Electric’s continuing success.
Bill Lamkin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology for Purdue University and is a graduate of the IEJATC Apprenticeship Program.
‘Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors for NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association). He has participated in the Indiana Construction Roundtable Job Fair and developed and initiated an Internship Program for college students.
